This is Moscato d’Asti at it’s best. Gigha’s 2023 Moscato d’Asti DOCG has been racking up the accolades. A magnificent balance of ripe peach and fresh acidity. This soft sparkling wine comes in at 5% alc and is just enjoyment in a glass. Perfect on its own with a vibrant level of acidity cutting the sweetness it also pairs well with food. I have also had the opportunity to have older vintages and can attest that this wine ages quite well.
Vineyard Notes: vines planted in 1977, southwest exposure, soil consists of marl, clay, limestone with a high magnesium content.
